For decades San Jose was a national festival throughout Spain. San Jose was something like the king of saints’ days. Things changed and now March 18th is only celebrated in a few places, among them the Ibizan village called after San Jose whose women, it is said, are the ones that best show off the typical regional shawl. That said, they will wear it to dance and celebrate the saints day which will end up with a big concert that is still to be confirmed.
