Highly acclaimed and now regarded as the official opening of the summer season, Ibiza International Music Summit will take place from May 26th - 28, 2010. Now in its third year, the summit’s purpose is to bring together the elite opinion makers within the music industry to discuss and debate the future. The current line-up for the conference part of the summit which will be held at Ibiza Gran Hotel includes major industry names like David Guetta and Erik Morillo with representatives from Google, Coca Cola and Beatport amongst many others.

A key note speech from man of the moment Mark Ronson will be one of the highlights during the three days of intensive networking that allows anyone to rub shoulders and talk to highly regarded professionals. Ronson, who is partly responsible for the success of artists such as Amy Winehouse, will also be performing at the greatly anticipated Gran Finale Festival which will take place on Friday 28th from 6.30 pm at Baluarte de Sant Lucia; the area at the top of Ibiza’s old town.
Buraka Som Sistema
Joining Mark Ronson will be a world class and diverse line-up of artists including DJ sets from Pete Tong, Skream and Sasha alongside a huge live performance from David E Sugar whilst the number one chart- topping band Buraka Som Sistema will bring the spectacular concert produced by The Shop to a close. Finally, IMS will extend its music programming this year with an extra day of activity to take place at Blue Marlin on Saturday 29th: this will conclude the week of label showcases where Grial and Keepers will also play host each evening to some of electronic music’s hottest artists.
