Fiesta de San Bartolomé

The town of Sant Antoni de Portmany embarks on several weeks of merrymaking in honour of its patron saint, Bartholomew. The programme features the music and dance festival on 19th August, the Namasté festival on 20th August and a concert by the legendary rock group Seguridad Social on 22nd August. The central point on 24th August (Saint Bartholomew’s Day) is marked by a Holy Mass and procession plus a concert by the Flamenco guitarist Paco Fernández.
