First Sunday in May Festivities

As parishioners in the town on the Island’s only river were filing out of the church in Ses Estaques one day, the walls began to crumble. Within seconds, the building, complete with tower, toppled into the sea. The churchgoers thought their lives had been spared by a miracle. To commemorate that day, Santa Eulària stages an annual festival on the first Sunday of May. The street parade is a spectacle to be enjoyed by locals and visitors alike.
