From the end of January, hundreds of almond trees in the Santa Agnès valleys begin to flower becoming a place of pilgrimage for people who come to visit the marvellous spectacle. Many artists flock to catch the flowering on canvas or the moment on camera, especially when the full moon lights up the fields with soft pinks, whites and greys. Coinciding with the national feast day of Saint Agnès, the annual walk from Sant Antoni to Santa Agnès de Corona is the ideal way to see and smell the beauty of the hundreds of almond trees that line the route in their full glory.
