Swiss Cross Fine Brands, European importers of the premium vodka Grand Khaan, invited IBIZA & FORMENTERA STYLE to a presentation in Zurich, together with Rolf, Manuel and Ulises from Ibiza’s new hotspot NOVUM and Akim from Exclusivas Miró. The company’s private jet was sent to collect them from Ibiza and the Group’s luxury hotel, The Dolder Grand, played host to the presentation and subsequent tasting.
Grand Khaan vodka is distilled three times and is 40% alcohol by volume. Only the finest ingredients are used in its production. It is made exclusively from young organic summer wheat grown on the Mongolian steppes at a height of 4,000 feet above sea level. The water used in its production originates from the crystal clear mountain springs which become the river Khara and are fed by the winter snows in the mountains surrounding the birthplace of Genghis Khan. These fine ingredients, filtered six times through quartz sand, white stone filters, activated charcoal from silver birch and micro filters, produce a particularly soft and agreeable aroma.
The multi-award winning Grand Khaan Super Premium Vodka is an aromatic soft vodka of the absolutely highest quality, which unlike almost any other is superb both cold and at room temperature – each glass calls for another... The Super Premium label, however, is only available in limited quantities.
Close collaboration with the Swiss confectioner Läderach has also resulted in a unique kind of chocolate truffle, GRAND KHAAN VODKA TRUFFLES. A really sweet temptation! Grand Khaan Vodka enrobed in the finest Swiss chocolate. We were completely won over both by the vodka and the truffles. You will now be able to enjoy this unique vodka, and the truffles, with Ulises at the REUNION BAR in the garden of NOVUM, which will have the exclusive rights in Ibiza.
