The D\u2019Ambrosio family, who have made such a huge success of the \u2018Trattoria del Mar\u2019 in Marina Botafoch, have now taken over the former \u2018Baccus\u2019 in the village of Jes\u00fas. Following extensive renovation work, the restaurant opened in early April as \u2018La Vineria\u2019. The name says it all. The shelves are stacked out with a massive selection of international wines, many as weekly specials so you can order by the glass. On the wine list, you will find 200 different labels, mainly of Spanish, Italian or French provenance, but also some from far-flung lands such as New Zealand or Uruguay. And to accompany these, there is an array of freshly prepared antipasti and light snacks, so you can easily compose your own men\u00fa de degustaci\u00f3n and try a bit of everything. All of this at very attractive prices. On weekdays, you can also order a lunch at bargain prices. There is a choice between three starters, three main courses and two desserts. The ambience is totally authentic: the restaurant interior is dominated by seemingly endless wine racks and the outside tables are pleasantly framed between vines and olive trees.
