There are certain people whose lives become a bridge between worlds. Kamelia Adib is one of them. Entrepreneur, cultural advocate and curator, Kamelia has spent more than a decade championing creativity, preserving heritage and connecting artisans with a global audience. We were invited into her private space to discuss her projects to date and discover how \u201cHich House\u201d in Ibiza reflects not only her Persian roots but also the spiritual energy that has drawn seekers, artists and visionaries to Ibiza for generations.<\/p>\n
Leaving Iran in 2006 opened the door to a new chapter of discovery. From Dubai to London, Kamelia immersed herself in the worlds of communication, luxury and design, graduating with a Master\u2019s degree in Media Communications and an MBA in High End Brand Management. Her passion for creativity also drew her to Central Saint Martins, where she studied Fashion Styling and began developing the distinctive aesthetic vision that continues to influence her work today.<\/p>\n
Kamelia\u2019s entrepreneurial spirit emerged early. In 2015, she launched Kadib, the first fashion e-commerce store in Iran, pioneering a way for independent designers and artisans to reach audiences far beyond their immediate communities. Yet commercial success was never the primary objective. Instead, Kamelia was driven by a deeper purpose: to preserve Persian creative heritage and empower the women whose hands carried these skills forward in Persia.<\/p>\n
During her extensive studies and worldwide travel, Kamelia recognised a demand for more distinct fashion: fusing traditional Persian craft techniques with contemporary design. Every piece told a story. Every stitch represented hours \u2013 sometimes weeks \u2013 of meticulous craftsmanship. In an age increasingly dominated by fast fashion and mass production, Kadib offered something rare: authenticity. It provided Persian artists with a platform to share their arts with a global audience, ensuring that centuries-old traditions and creative legacies could continue to thrive.<\/p>\n
Kadib opened a flagship store in Berlin alongside its online presence in 2019 and went on to host 44 pop-up events worldwide. At a time when political sanctions and international trade restrictions made global visibility exceptionally challenging, Kadib became more than a business. It created possibilities and a voice for hidden talents in Persia.<\/p>\n
In 2024, Kamelia pressed pause on Kadib pending political sanctions being lifted. This gave her the time and energy to focus on a collaborative project with her friend. Together, they created not only space, but also a sanctuary for friends, family and like-minded creatives. A philosophy made physical.<\/p>\n\n\t\t
