The French-German DJ and producer, also known for his work as Krystal K and JCA, with whom he recorded the 2003 hit “I Begin To Wonder” with Dannii Minogue, will lead the parties on Wednesdays with his brand Be Crazy. The coming-out is going to be on June 5 and he is currently working out the final details of what promises to be one of the parties this season in Ibiza.

“Be Crazy is going to be a real spectacle. The main party will be on the ground floor of the hotel but we’re also going to have the uppermost deck (The Xaloc Sky Lounge) to hold private events and after-parties. What we’ve come up with is going to be something new on the island thanks to the image and design that we’re going to project; the shows and the production that will be carried out by Yann’s brother. As for the visuals … I prefer not to give too much away just yet, I want it to be a surprise. We’re working flat out to get everything perfect for the opening,” says Ades. And what direction will the music be taking? “The line-up will consist of some of my favourite DJs. There are still many names to be confirmed but I can say that some of the guest artists will be Radio Slave, M.A.N.D.Y., Blond:sh, Tiefschwarz, Re.You more names will be announced soon…

This is the concept with which Jean-Claude wants to reclaim the spirit of true house parties. “I remember the parties in the 90s by Strictly Rhythm. It was all sensuality and groove. The audience got into the music and didn’t stop dancing. That’s what we’re going to offer at Be Crazy. A sound that’s sexy, and happy, has touches of deep and tech house, but one that above all is very sensual and fresh”.

Jean Claude isn’t alone in this adventure. He is joined by his brother Maurice, a well-known PR on the island, who’ll take care of the guests. “My brother has a big circle of VIP clients, spent many years working and has very good contacts. We’re definitely going to have lot of familiar faces at the parties and Maurice will make sure that they have a great time. We’re a good team. He takes care of the people and me the music”, he says with a smile.

The new building developed by the Matutes family is still a mystery but we already have some very appealing details. “The DJ cabin faces away from the beach so people can see the sea while they’re dancing”, says Jean Claude. Ushuaia Tower will also feature a restaurant / bar with a terrace on two levels (Infinity), a cocktail bar (The Last Call Bar), a VIP zone, a pool and a total of 181 suites with exclusive services distributed over eight floors. The complex will hold 2,000 people.

There’s no doubt that this is going to be a very intense summer for Jean-Claude. On top of his residency at Ushuaia he’s going to play in different European cities such as Barcelona, Amsterdam, Cannes and Munich and he’s prepared new material that’s going to be released on his label Be Crazy Music over the coming months. “Exciting times are coming,” he says. So, let the action start and the madness break out.
