Mondays down at Sankeys with their night CUFF just oozes the cool factor; exclusive French producers dropping in, proper island headz in the house and the guarantee of a proper old skool flava. “This year we are have some new killer artists we are bringing to Ibiza, dudes like Sammy W & Alex E, Medeew & Chicks Luv Us, Maximono and Tekla – it will be sick” admits DANCE.
Growing up listening to Notorious B.I.G., R.Kelly, Todd Terry, A Tribe Called Quest and Armand Van Helden, it’s no wonder their private jet is on constant yo yo between North America and Ibiza. This summer sees the duo also holding down residencies in Brazil, Paris and London, a stretch of gigs they are more than happy to take on board. “We are just trying really hard to make the CUFF brand bigger all the time, if the fans want more, we will give them more” say the boys. I ask Amine Edge how he copes with the constant ‘indulgences’ on offer on the white isle with so much touring happening?
