Another summer, another sensational season ahead for Ibiza.. As we move with anticipation and excitement into summer 2016, it is with great delight that we see some of our very favourite dining destinations reopening their doors. Amongst these is the eternally popular El Chiringuito, who will be welcoming their loyal and loved friends and family to dine, dance and soak up their inimitable ambience from April until October.

So, what can we expect from this now legendary venue for the summer ahead? Undoubtedly, the same unwavering high quality of cuisine and service which has become their benchmark in recent years. Consistency is the key here, with the menu remaining more or less unchanged for five years, and the same team of experts in the kitchen, and front of house, all of whom who work tirelessly and professionally to ensure that everything which reaches your table is of the very highest standard.  This year, however there will be a few new additions to the menu, as the concept is to maintain an inviting setting which welcomes both romancing couples alongside groups of family and friends to spend a luxuriously relaxing day.

With this in mind, there are more plates to share, including a delicious black rice dish for 2 people, which is simply sublime. The sole meunière, which featured as a special last season has become a permanent fixture on the menu due to popular demand, and there are also many tapas options, meaning that all of the dishes set onto the table are there for each diner to enjoy, sharing is the answer! The carnivores amongst you will delight in the 600g Nebraska Black Angus entrecote, served to your table on a hot stone, and cooked exactly to your specifications. Divine.


Over at BEACHOUSE, their sister restaurant in Playa d’en Bossa, the venue moves onwards and upwards for another season. The now legendary Sunday gatherings will still remain a firm favourite on everyone’s party agenda, albeit as a smaller, more intimate affair, as the only party of the week. The restaurant itself will continue to serve its wonderful selection of Italian inspired dishes to delight your palate, an idyllic setting for breakfast, lunch or dinner, BEACHOUSE style.  BEACHOUSE is open from April through to October, with the official opening party on 7th May, with a soundtrack provided by Davide Squillace.

So, Es Cavallet, or Playa dén Bossa, whichever you choose, you can be assured of the warmest of welcomes and the highest of standards this summer.
