Ibiza Gran Hotel 5* Grand Luxe
ocated on the Paseo Marítimo, in front of upscale yachting marinas (Marina Botafoch and Marina Ibiza) and surrounded by the best nightlife venues, Ibiza Gran Hotel is just a few minutes away from the town centre and Talamanca beach. Thanks to its combination of spacious suites with matchless vistas, a spa, restaurants, two pools, boutiques and the casino Ibiza Gran Hotel is the very epitome of Mediterranean luxury… More than 5,000 m² of landscaped areas, 1,300 m² devoted to the cult of the body and mind in Open Spa—our wellness centre—and a setting that surrounds the guest in beauty and art.
The only Art Hotel in Ibiza is also the one possessing the highest ranking on the island: five star grand luxury. The hotel was designed with the aim of offering its clients exclusivity, wellbeing, relaxation and comfort, against a backdrop of works of art and an extraordinarily exquisite atmosphere. At Ibiza Gran Hotel luxury is understood to mean value that goes beyond the material; luxury as synonymous with sophistication, exclusivity, attention to detail and relaxation in the deepest sense of the word. The luxury of being able to appreciate a unique, extraordinary place.
Like a live art container, the collection at Ibiza Gran Hotel is made up of new works every year. Ever since last season, the colossal sculpture, Oval Buddha, by the Japanese artist Takashi Murakami has been exhibited in the lobby to welcome its guests. The work represents the Buddha even though it appears to have been conceived as an abstract self-portrait of the artist himself.
Most of the artists taking part in the project are connected in some way with the Mediterranean. Some live or have lived in the Pitiusas Islands, like the American photographer Toni Keeler who captured on camera the contrasts between indigenous customs in Ibiza and the way of life of the hippies who arrived here in the 70s. Today, Ibiza Gran Hotel shows part of his work in a fascinating exhibition in its restaurant, La Gaia.
