Cas Costas Grill & Market – A traditional concept in the countryside in Ibiza

Nowadays, having dinner means more than simply eating out. Diners are looking for a special experience; they want to enjoy the atmosphere, hospitality and entertainment. Ibiza specialises in satisfying visitors’ needs, above all, the people who run Nassau Beach Club who, after Nassau Tanit, Dunes and Casa Munich, now present a wonderful new place: Cas Costas Grill & Market.

The notion is as simple as it is ingenious: the focus is on family warmth because what could we enjoy more than a barbecue with friends and family in the shade of tall trees while the kids are playing around us? Cas Costas is a café/bar, grill restaurant and supermarket with a large bodega and a FrischeParadies store with fruit and vegetables from the region.

By 8 am, guests can already be enjoying their first espresso on the terrace and breakfast is served up until to 13.30. Afterwards, the grill restaurant opens up to serve specialities from the Josper, a combination of grill and oven. This furnace is heated with biochar and reaches up to 400 degrees C. Thanks to the special cooking method not only meat but also vegetables and fish are imbued with a unique aromatic flavour that not only gourmets love.  Whether it is a juicy steak, salt-crusted sea bass or a vegetarian option with grilled vegetables from the region, it leaves nothing to be desired.  The grill is open up until 1 am at night.

The adjacent grocery store boasts a wide variety, attaching importance to regional produce from Ibiza.  However, there are also foreign delicacies that are otherwise more difficult to get hold of.  Organic produce can be found as well as conventional goods, and the good quality of fruit and vegetables stems from working with the best farms on the island, which supply the market. The bodega has an exceptional variety of excellent wines and spirits. The standard range even includes magnum champagne bottles or the larger version, which is over three litres.

The market’s opening times are from 8:30 am until midnight year round. It is closed on Tuesdays, which is when both the market and the restaurant are shut.

The atmosphere and warm service at Cas Costas leave every visitor with the feeling they are part of a large Ibizan family, so it is no surprise then that this place is already very popular.
